Happy New year everyone, hope it was a good one!  On January 1st, 2016 we decided to take our kids for the first time up to Ogden Nordic  to do some cross country skiing. It is located in Liberty,Utah at North Fork Park.    They  have 25 km of groomed trails for skate and classic skiing, they groom 6 nights a week and have an additional 10 km for snowshoeing. PSIA ski school and rental gear are available.

We met up with some friend and the weather was perfect for cross-country skiing.  Surprisingly our kid picked it up right away.

At the end everyone had a great time.  Hot chocolate was the reward for finishing.  What an awesome way to start a new year than to hangout and spend time together!  Enjoying the fresh snowy air in the mountain.  What a great outdoor family event, we will definitely do it again in the future!
