If you ever use some types of flash/strobes than you will know how much batteries you can go through in a week.  If you are like me, trying to save money and you will be interest in rechargeable batteries.  I bought the “POWEREX” brand and haven’t been disappoint with it yet.  It hold change really well, most of the rechargeable battery I have used will discharge just by sitting on the self in a couple of days.  I don’t have to worried about the Powerex, it can sit inside my sb700 for week and still works great!  I charged my battery on the La Crosse Technology BC-700 Alpha Power Battery Charger and it just works awesome.

Conclusion: 

For $30 you can get an awesome smart charger without breaking the bank.  The Powerex batteries will cost $15 for a pack of four, for that price you will have a little peace of mind that your flash will work every time.
